Who would have thought it? In September 2014 the standard examination procedure for a Microsoft Certified Professional was passed by a five year old from Coventry, England!
Ayan Qureshi is now officially the youngest qualified MCP after he took the online examination at the Birmingham City University Centre and passed with 70%. At the tender age of 5 years and 11 months he was officially qualified to install and configure Microsoft’s Windows operating systems.
“There were multiple choice questions, drag and drop questions, hotspot questions and scenario-based questions” which he answered with ease. Additional requirements for passing this exam, require that you encrypt a removable drive using the Bitlocker software and troubleshoot Internet Explorer bugs.
His father is an IT consultant and at age 3 Ayan was already playing with his computers. Whereas other children his age would only be interested in playing computer games, he wanted to learn about the operating systems. He currently spends almost two hours a day studying OS and is hoping to one day to create his own company called E-Valley. His website is http://ayanqureshi.com.
Ayan’s mother said that she is very proud of him and does not expect him to continue breaking records, she just hopes he does his best in whatever he does in his life.
